Winter Fancy Food Show (San Francisco, USA)

The city of San Francisco attracts an important representation of international companies with the celebration of the Winter Fancy Food Show. The event becomes each year an exclusive showcase in which all kinds of gourmet food and delicatessen, such as extra virgin olive oil, are shown to the world.

More than 19,500 buyers and professionals from the food sector reach the Moscone Center in San Francisco. In addition, its exhibition rooms are filled with new trends in food and visitors get to discover 80,000 products.

Madrid Fusión (Madrid, Spain)

The most complete and prestigious chefs in the world come together at one of the most important international culinary events, Madrid Fusión, which is held yearly at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos in Madrid.

At this international fine foods summit there are talks, live demonstrations, master classes, tastings and conferences, involving over 100 international chefs and thirty products, including extra virgin olive oil which enjoys unique presence at the Congreso, showcasing it’s versatility within haute-cuisine.

Olio Officina Food Festival (Milan, Italy)

Extra virgin olive oil is the main actor at Olio Officina Food Festival. Which, since it’s birth in 2011, has chosen the Italian city of Milan as it’s stage.

The event, created by writer, oenologist and author of several books on EVOO, Luigi Caricato, aims to help change the universal language of olive oil, through a new style of communication by creating a global movement of thought on the fascinating world that surrounds this product.

This event has a wide range of activities addressing the use of olive oil in the kitchen and includes roundtables, interviews, tastings, exhibitions and various cultural initiatives.


Prodexpo (Moscow, Russia)

Prodexpo is Russia’s leading agrifood exhibition, and by size, the largest in all Eastern Europe. Because of that, it constitutes an important showcase for companies interested in entering the Russian market or consolidating their presence there.

It is a food and beverages sector exhibition, held annually, and aimed exclusively to industry professionals ranging from wholesalers to retailers of the food and beverage industries. The event also holds “The Best Product” competition to support and help promote quality products in the Russian market.

Biofach (Nuremberg, Germany)

The Biofach trade fair, held parallel to it’s sister fair on natural beauty and health products, Vivaness, celebrated in Nuremberg, have established themselves as the world’s leading trade fair for organic products, including extra virgin olive oil.

The German city’s Exhibition Center has become the largest platform for providing information and knowledge about this sector, highlighting it’s internationalization and it’s innovative nature with over 40,000 visitors from 135 countries.

As with each edition, EVOOs hold a prominent place in this organic summit with an Olive Oil Bar and an Olive Oil Award, both of which have become important spotlights as well as a meeting point for professionals from all countries.

Gulfood (Dubai, United Arab Emirates)

This fair has, in recent years, become a major strategic event for companies looking to expand their activity in the Persian Gulf and Middle Eastern regions, and it has become an excellent promotional launchpad and business opportunity identifier.

This international trade fair, which takes place at the Dubai World Trade Center (United Arab Emirates), is for food & hospitality industry professionals only, and a place to share knowledge, experiences and strategies.

It is one of the largest food and beverage industry shows with 4.500 exhibitors, in which gastronomy also has it’s space in The Emirates Salon Culinaire and achievements have their own at the Gulfood Awards.

Foodex Japan (Tokyo, Japan)

The Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba (a town close to Tokyo) houses this international food and beverage industry trade fair, which attracts a large number of buyers: wholesalers and retailers, supermarkets, caterers, beverage and food importers, among many others.

It is one of the largest agrifood fairs, open to industry professionals only, in the Asian-Pacific region, including Oceania, which means it is an important showcase for companies looking to penetrate the Japanese and Asian markets.

WOOE (Madrid, España)

Madrid annually hosts the World Olive Oil Exhibition (WOOE), the world meeting of olive oil, where producers of extra virgin olive oil and international buyers meet.

According to its organizers, WOOE is “the best opportunity to activate a market that can give greater competitiveness to companies that come to it as a result of the strong presence of international operators.” This event is complemented by the Discussion and Gourmet Areas.

SOL & Agrifood (Verona, Italy)

The Italian city of Verona has celebrated the International Quality Agri-Foods Event, SOL&Agrifood, since 2013, when the International Quality Olive Oil Event, SOL, and the Agrifood Club united under one single name and trade fair.

Four days of quality products, tastings and business contacts between companies and specialized professionals from all over the world.

The International Sol D’oro Olive Oil Competition, which has become an international benchmark for the recognition, valuation and promotion of this product’s excellence, takes place every year within the fair.

Summer Fancy Food Show (New York, USA)

June 25 – June 27

Summer Fancy Food Show, covering the East Coast US market, has become an excellent showcasing platform for gourmet foods, among them, extra virgin olive oil.

The show, organized by the Specialty Food Association, takes place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, in the city of skyscrapers. Live demonstrations and business meetings between exhibitors and buyers, workshops and seminars to help companies succeed within the gourmet food sector in the United States, are all included in a program brimming with activities.

Within the framework of the fair, every year the Sofi Awards honor those products which have stood out for their quality, flavor, innovation, packaging or ingredients.

Speciality and Fine Food Fair (London, United Kingdom)

London hosts the leading gourmet food industry fair of the United Kingdom. Since 1999, this event connects artisan and gourmet food producers with key buyers in the retail, big chain and hospitality sectors.

Over 700 exhibitors showcase their new and exciting products to over 11.700 retailers, catering companies, chefs, hospitality companies, restaurant owners and gourmet food store representatives. Furthermore, “The Great Taste Awards”, a ceremony organized by The Guild of Fine Food and considered the “Oscars” of the food industry, takes place within the fair.

Fine Food Australia (Sydney, Australia)

The Sydney Olympic Park houses the most important food and drink fair in the country, a trade event open only to industry professionals. Over 1000 exhibitors and 27.600 people working in the food, drink or equipment industries attend each year.
